We have winners in the Writing at the Ledges Seasons of Life writing contest. Since we had so many worthy entrants, we decided to crown two winners, one in poetry and one in story/essay.

Congratulations to Melissa Cook for her story entitled An Eternity Later, and Robert Nelson for his poem The Signs of Spring!

Look for both pieces to be included in our upcoming anthology Seasons of Life.

I have no idea what you are talking about. I write on here, I log off. That’s the best of my knowledge. Half the time I can’t even figure out how to leave a message. I’d probably blog more if I understood this site. It’s too complicated for me.

I really like the idea of a “writing day” that Jan has proposed — especially if it’s a half-day event or something (so we can really get some work done), but of course, people could come and go as they have time.
