It would be inappropriate to describe myself as a writer.
Even though I have been writing throughout my adult life, it predominantly comprised business-related documents such as market research, business plans, and marketing strategies. My foray into literary world happened by accident. A setback in life troubled me sometime ago. On suggestion from a friend, I wrote about it and read to a group of people. Surprisingly, it produced a healing effect. Since then, I have writing periodically on subjects I feel strongly about or to document events that matter.
My professional background is unrelated to literature. It mainly covers business. After graduating from college with a major in political science, I pursued studies leading to a master of business administration (MBA) degree. To enhance my international business credentials, I received a second graduate degree—an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management, Glendale, AZ. At both graduate schools, I majored in marketing.
Following graduation, I worked as product manager, marketing manager, and director of marketing for multinational companies such as Warner-Lambert and Unipex. The thrust of my work was directed towards: domestic marketing, exporting, licensing, and joint ventures.
My writings focus on the messages to be conveyed, unconstrained by linguistic or literary technicalities. Consequently, they are imperfect. But then, so am I—imperfect. They reflect who I am.
