Phil first wrote nonfiction for the magazine, Selling Power, Marketing News, a publication of American Marketing Association, Marketing Times, of Sales And Marketing Executives International, and various other national publications. His first book was nonfiction, Make The Change To Customer Driven Sales, which was published by HRD Corporation.
Turning to fiction, he wrote and won a national award for his first play, Hey Dick, and has had two other plays produced. Curse of the Kitsune is his fantasy comedy novel which has been turned over to the American Marketing Association, Lansing Community College Chapter. All proceeds of the sale of the book go toward marketing scholarships at LCC. He has written two other serious novels and is attempting to get a national agent to represent them.
